Check-in and check-out
Check-in is from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. Check-out is no later than 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
House key
The key is in a key box. More specific information will be provided close to arrival via AirBnB.
We would encourage you to use the key box during your stay and put the key there when you are away from the house so that you do not accidentally lose the key. When the box is closed, you turn the code wheels back to something random.

Electricity, Water, and Firewood Consumption
Please record the readings of the meters, or take a picture of them for accuracy. The electricity meter is located just to the right of the front door. The water meter is located in a well directly in front of the front door. To read the water meter, lift the light grey plastic lid.
Waste, Bottles, and Cans
Waste sorting is required at the summer house. Guidelines can be found inside the house. We kindly ask that waste bags are NOT turned upside down in the container. Please close the bags and place them in the container to prevent waste and debris from spilling out. Thank you 🙂
If you do not return your deposit bottles/cans yourself, you can put them in the bag outside the annex.
Containers for glass and glass bottles without refundable stickers can be found at the corner of Marensvej/Grønhøj Strandvej or in the car park area of the campsite (Kettrupvej 125).
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed.
Pets
Pets are not allowed.

Information will be shared via AirBnB before arrival.
Baby and children
Two travel cots along with mattresses, one IKEA high chair, and a baby bathtub are located in the room next to the washing machine. Please ensure to return them to their original places upon departure. Inside the house, there are cups, plates, and utensils for children as well as a junior chair. Various games, LEGO sets, and Brio trains are available in the house.
You will need to bring your own baby duvet and pillow.
Please remember to bring:
- Bed linens (1 bed measures 180 x 200, the others measure 90 x 200)
- Dish towels and cloths
- Towels
- Toilet and bath articles
Rent linen packages
We have a limited number of linen packages available for rent. A linen package includes bed linen and one large towel per person. In addition, there are a number of smaller towels for the bathroom and/or kitchen, as well as tea towels and dishcloths. As mentioned, the quantity is limited, so if guests before you have also rented linen packages, there may not be enough clean sets available for your stay. Please contact us if you would like to inquire about availability and reserve linen packages for your visit. We do not provide bed linen for baby duvets and pillows.

TV
You can stream your own channels and services via Chromecast or through apps available on the TV. There is also a TV and a Chromecast available in the annex. By default, the accommodation provides access to Danish channels from DR as well as their archive. You can use the DR app on the TV for this purpose. The satellite dish is directed towards the Astra satellite.
Music
There is a SONOS Bluetooth speaker in the cottage that you can stream your music to.
Hot water
In the bathroom behind the door is the hot water tank. Turn the knob to approx. “5 o’ clock” and adjust it according to your needs during your stay. If more people have to shower shortly after each other, it can be an advantage to turn it to “max”, but in that case beware of the very hot water.
Heat
There is a heat pump and electric radiators. If the electric radiators are switched off, they are switched on by a button on the height side of the radiator. Then they can be set. There is a manual for the heat pump in the house.
The woodstove
Firewood is not included. There is a basket by the wood stove. You can fill it up from the woodshed for prices see: Payment for utilities. You keep track of the number of refills and settle it along with other consumptions. The woodshed is behind the annex (watch your head). Alternatively, firewood can be purchased at one of the numerous roadside stalls in the area. If you are not familiar with using a wood stove, it can cause problems and unpleasant smoke emissions. We would very much like to avoid that. So, if you wish to use the wood stove, we hope you will read this small guide:

Laundry
There is a washer and a dryer. The machines are outside in the small shed by the kitchen window. The key to the house fits.
Gas grill
There is a Weber gas grill available for your use. We strive to always provide gas, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee it 100%. If you run out, there is usually a spare gas cylinder in the shed next to the washing machine.
- Placement and safety: The grill must under no circumstances be used indoors. Please also remember to pull the grill away from the house before lighting it.
- Utensils: You will normally find the BBQ utensils at the bottom of the cabinet to the right of the dishwasher.
- Cleaning: After use, please clean both the grill and the utensils.
- After use: Once the grill is completely cold, please put the cover back on and secure it with the elastic cord.
Outside
The trampoline should be used without shoes. If there are branches from the trees on the trampoline, they should be removed before use. There might be pine needles from the trees on it. If there are too many, use the broom to sweep them together.
The swings are suitable for children weighing a maximum of 60 kg.
Under the bed in the annex, you will find 2 mattresses that you can use in the shelter. On the terrace, there is a cushion box for chair cushions and some garden games. There are also some garden games in the laundry room. Please put the cushions back in the box if it rains.
Outside the season (approximately from October to April), the hammock and sunshade are packed away, and one garden table is also set aside.
Sightseeing
On the shelf in the living room, you will find a selection of tourist books and brochures. In the reception at the Holiday park (Ingeborgvej 2), you will find all guides and brochures for most of North Jutland.

Groceries
You can do small shopping at the grocery store at the Holiday Center (Ingeborgvej 2) or at the campground’s (Kettrupvej 125) store. The small kiosk by the beach offers not only ice cream but also grilled food. The kiosk is open during the summer season. The two small stores in the vicinity may be closed outside the season. In Løkken, you can find SuperBrugsen, 365Discount, and Menu. SuperBrugsen is truly worth a visit with a beautiful bakery section, a large delicatessen, a well-assorted wine department, and much more. The entrance itself is a large flower shop, making it easy to grab a beautiful bouquet of flowers on the way.
Morning bread
The best morning bread is bought at Superbrugsen in Løkken. There may be a long wait at the bakery. But you can order in advance online via https://superbrugsenloekken.dk/. Prepaid orders are on a table and can be picked up without waiting time. Out of season, there is rarely a wait.
