The washing machine is located in an unheated shed. To avoid frost damage to the pipes, please follow this short guide when using it.

1. Turn on the water
- Under the kitchen sink, on the bottom right, you’ll find a red valve.
- Open this valve → water is now connected to the washing machine in the shed.
2. Turn off the water
- After washing, close the red valve under the sink again.
- If there is no frost, you can leave it open during your stay – but always close it before you leave.
3. Release the pressure from the pipes
- After closing the valve under the sink:
- Go to the shed.
- Open the two taps by the washing machine.
- Let the water run out (may take a few seconds).
- Close the taps again.

In the shed by the washing machine
After you’ve turned off the water under the kitchen sink, open the two taps shown here. Let the water run out (it may take a few seconds before it starts). Close the taps again once the water has drained. There’s a video below the picture showing how to do it.
